GreenCut Biodegradable Cutting/Misting Fluid
Occupational Health and Safety Explanations

From a safety point of view, GreenCut Biodegradable Cutting Fluid can be safely walked on whether it's on concrete, steel, or any other type of flooring. GreenCut spills and/or 'misting' wet the floor but is safe to walk on. GreenCut's molecule is attracted to all metals but ignores footwear which is non-metallic.
GreenCut's molecular arrangement is a flatted matrix, like an interwoven floor mat, wherein the various chemical molecules come together in a plane of interlaced molecules that have a tight molecular bond. Oil based products have a spherical molecule like little ball bearings, walk on oil and you may well have an accident.
Lubrication and cooling with GreenCut Biodegradable Cutting Fluid is handled with environmentally safe chemicals which handle extreme pressure and temperatures better than any other known metal working cutting fluid. GreenCut will not change in its molecular matrix structure and cannot separate in its working environment, unlike other fluids.
Misting with GreenCut is absolutely safe and very effective. GreenCut contains safe-to-use antiseptics that kill bacteria -but also help to protect lungs, and exposed hands and faces. GreenCut has no adverse effect on lungs due to its safe chemistry as examined, approved, and certified by Environment Canada via its 'Environmental Choice Program'. GreenCut Cutting Fluid's official Ecotoxicity Classification is "Practically Non-Toxic" and "Absolutely Non-Toxic to Wastewater Treatment Plant bacteria" (it can be flushed 'down-the-drain'). GreenCut has a nice lemon odor, causing the machine shop to smell pleasant!
GreenCut tank or sump cleanout is not normally required -just keep adding the GreenCut premix at the 1:20 ratio of GreenCut to water, unless extreme slideways and tramp oil deposits foul the GreenCut cutting fluid to excess. This can be visually noted by a colour change from green to greenish white and then to a yellowish colour which indicates a potential oil wastage problem that may cause pollution.
We note that one of our Clients has not changed out the GreenCut over the last 3 years, and several are past one year and counting. This particular client operates a large machine shop, plus a CNC Plasma Arc profile cutting table with a 20,000 gallon sump tank that does milling, cutting, boring, threading, and burning of steel plates up to 8" thick on a double shift, 6 day week basis. They simply keep on adding premixed GreenCut Cutting Fluid to the tank and expect to operate this way indefinitely. The other clients mentioned are operating in a similar fashion throughout North America.
This proves that the GreenCut Biodegradable Cutting Fluid eliminates slideways and tramp oils by the swift biodegradation of the oils and hydrocarbons, as they transfer into the sump tank via oil leakage and from the oils coated on mega tonnes of steel plate passing through the 20,000 gallon tank.
