GreenCut® Enviro-Safe Cutting Fluid for CNC Plasma-Arc Cutting Tables including Milling, Drilling, Tapping, etc.
GreenCut is totally safe-to-use and breathe, Non-Toxic, and prevents sump odors. GreenCut mixed with water, will biodegrade the 'tramp-oils' that fall in the cutting fluid bath, making GreenCut safe to use with no bacterial growth. GreenCut Cutting Fluid will improve machining operations of all metals and alloys when used up to a mix ratio of 20:1. GreenCut contains superior metal-cutting chemistry, together with anti-rust and antifoam additives; and safe-to-use antiseptics that help to protect hands, faces, and lungs.
Recommended Mix Formula: GreenCut/Water ratio for the Plasma-Arc Water/Coolant tables:
Mix in an empty 1000 Liter (264 gallon) TOTE:
17 US Gals. (65 Liters) of GreenCut Cutting Fluid
247 US Gals. (935 Liters) of regular tap water (if soft, use Additional GreenCut Anti-Foam)
Total: 264 US Gals. (1,000 Liters)
On initial filling of a large table with the above formula, it is recommended that you add a full 54 US Gals. (205 Litres) of GreenCut Anti-Rust to the 5,000 to 20,000 gallon Table Tank(s). This will coat the new table with a protective initial coating of Anti-Rust, prior to steel plate entering the table for cutting, machining, drilling, tapping, etc.
As the table starts to run low, (checked by removing all air from the bladder) add GreenCut to the table with a mixture at 10:1. A mixture at 10:1 is required because, on a percentage basis, more GreenCut than water leaves the bath during operation.
The GreenCut needs no changing out, based on over 4 years performance experience, saving on operational and disposal costs. Just add the GreenCut Mix Formula as needed to top-up levels.
If soft water is encountered which may cause excessive foaming, add 0.4 US Gals. (1.5 L), of GreenCut Anti-Foam to each 264 gallon (1000 liter) pre-mixed tote described above.
GreenCut will not deteriorate, or allow bacterial growth to occur, and biodegrades "eats" the tramp oils. Metal cuttings and burn-off material will sink to the bottom of the tables and will need cleaning out periodically. The GreenCut Mix Formula can be saved and re-used safely.
